The Origin of the Festival International Women's Day on March 8th, fully known as "United Nations Day for Women's Rights and International Peace", originated from the labor movement in the early 20th century. It originated from a group of brave female workers taking to the streets to voice their demands for their rights. In 1910, the International Socialist Women's Congress was held in Copenhagen, and it was decided to set March 8th of each year as International Women's Day to commemorate these brave women. It has now had a history of over a hundred years! In 1911, the first International Working Women's Day was born. Since then, Women's Day has become a rallying cry for women to unite and challenge traditional gender constraints. Nowadays, International Women's Day on March 8th has become an important festival globally to celebrate women's achievements and call for gender equality. On this Women's Day, let's speak out for feminism together. Let's pay tribute to every woman around us who is striving to live her life and bravely pursuing her dreams.They are mothers, wives, daughters, and more importantly, independent and strong individuals.
